The Soul of Service
The Living Education Staff Programme is the daily practice of recognising the interconnectedness in every task and interaction and the choice to consciously live everyday life as a spiritual path. This includes the integration of the practical and the spiritual together with our community of like-minded souls who choose to serve in this centre of light and transformation.
To join the Living Education Staff Programme you will need to participate in an Experience Week, a week of Exploring Community Life or Spiritual Practice, and a minimum of two months of the Living in Community Guest Programme before applying. All applicants will be interviewed. In essence the purpose of the LESP is to develop world-servers and world-leaders, as well as being the primary path to becoming staff of the Findhorn Foundation. The programme runs in blocks of six months, building on the Foundation Programme and usually starting two weeks after it ends.
The curriculum will immerse you in sharing responsibility for the rhythms and living principles of the Foundation. This includes commitment to a work department, participation in community meetings, meditation, spiritual and personal development, and regular reviews of your journey here with a mentor.
The cost is £600 and includes accommodation, food, and the programme itself. Our bursary fund allows for the possibility of supplementing those on low income and/or from developing countries.
